The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission website was recently hacked and taken offline by hacker group AnonPlus. AnonPlus is reportedly affiliated to the international hacker group Anonymous, and branded as an anti-censorship and pro-media freedom community. The Commission said that the motivation behind the hack was unknown, and no demands were made by AnonPlus. In addition, the hack did not lead to a privacy breach because no personal information was stored on the website.
